The three ambulances that remained behind after our July convoy have now crossed into Ukraine.
They are where they are needed most, in the hands of unit medics, evacuating the wounded from the frontline and getting them to medical care, giving them the best chance of making it home to their families.

Winter is coming, and requests for generators are already reaching us from Ukraine.
When power infrastructure is damaged, the impact is immediate. Medical facilities, frontline aid points, emergency services and communities still need electricity to keep essential equipment running, charge communications, provide light and maintain basic services.
A generator is not simply a backup power source.
In the places requesting them, it means keeping essential equipment operating when the grid goes down. It means lights during an emergency. It means charged radios and phones. It means people continuing to work when the power disappears.
We are now receiving increasing requests for generators ahead of winter, and we need funding to purchase and deliver them.

The units we buy are portable power stations such as Bluetti and EcoFlow: rechargeable, quiet, safe to run indoors, and they can be topped up from solar panels when the grid is down.
